It is a quite good orchestra. We had very pleasant rehearsals. The acoustics of the Lake Land Baptist Church is awesome. I am looking forward to performing with them.

師大大四女聲 赴日音樂會
四月初, 帶領師大女聲合唱團, 赴日演出一場2007國際交流音樂會. 因著大家的同心與努力, 使得國內外的三場演出, 皆圓滿順暢. 尤其, 京都與東京的典雅美, 與 那盛開的櫻花, 以及, 飄落滿地的雪飛花, 真是令人難以忘懷.

Tonight, I attended a concert by the Chongshin Concert Choir from Korea, in Richardson. I was impressed by the choir voice: clear, pure, together, echoing,just like one person singing. I admired the conductor, Kisun Lee, who had a firm cuing gesture and a fluent motion for the melody line. The dynamics were unlimited under his hands with a breadth of expression ranging from the sound of thunder to the huming of the wind. The important thing is they had the same heart to sing all together, which is the rule of thumb for a choir. They sprinkled each piece with some good ideas , like bongo, tringle, small bell, and comic body language, which always brought audience delighted laughter. It was definately a dedicate concert.
